This painting is based on an image captured while queueing to see Craig David at Ibiza Rocks in September 2025, during celebrations for my 40th birthday, a moment when friends from many different parts of my life came together, met, and formed new connections. The atmosphere of reunion, anticipation, and shared experience informs the work, as does the unexpected social connectivity symbolised by the chainmail dress worn that day.
