‘Big Flamingo-y’

After a solid run of portraits and commissions, I felt the need to loosen up and just play with colour again. This piece was all about being fun, bright, and nostalgic. I think the reference was from an old 70s coffee table book about Palm Springs or Malibu (if anyone recognises it, let me know!).
It felt like a breath of fresh air to break out the neon pink again. And really… who doesn’t love a big flamingo-y moment as the heat starts to rise?
