This piece started with an image that already felt like a painting before I even touched it. It captures the magnificent Georgie Peters in action. Trying to replicate the painting within the painting pushed me well outside my comfort zone. Abstract has never been my forte and I won’t pretend this came easily. Hopefully she’s not insulted by my attempt.
The title, Tequila People, comes from a conversation had with Georgie about the differences between Mojito people and Margarita people.
